i biked 27 km today and ate an entire block of tofu for lunch

one of our poor hens was dealing with egg binding today :( luckily we were able to give her a warm epsom salt bath and lot of encouragement and she laid her egg. this had a high chance of being very fatal so we're very lucky

i have done more physical activity in the past week than i've done in maybe 2 years. and i haven't crashed at all. confusing but i'll take it!

it's such a special feeling when juno is perched on me, standing on leg, forehead feathers floofed and eyes closed <3 all good signs that she's comfy and trusts me

i thrifted a serger recently and it took me 2 hours to set up but i'm really excited to use it on my next project

one of our hens, pidgey, has never ever taken an interest in being mounted by clara, our rooster (rip), but now suddenly she wants to be mounted by one of the other hens...... lesbian <3

holy shit! after 6 months one of our quails who has never laid before is laying for the first time!

i would not be getting through this time without juno
