self care is not shopping.
Self care is things that actually recharge you and reduce stress long term. A quiet cup of coffee, reading a book, spending time with people you love, getting enough sleep, eating healthy food, taking a nap, sitting with your pets, going outside, meditation, hobbies, slowing down.
Buying things might give a temporary dopamine hit, but actual self care should leave you feeling rested and restored — not financially stressed and surrounded by more clutter.
