@LavenderWay I’m enormously attached to the collar that was made for me by my Alpha - smooth and comfortable but with decent weight. I wear it 24/7 along with a tag and lock not pictured here. It’s aluminum woven chainmail, incredibly strong and durable. Both he and I make them to custom specifications (length, colors, patterns); if you’re interested at all DM me 🥰 - I have more examples I can share
@soulfire used properly, denial can be healthy/fun as it can reinvigorate your interests / help find new ones. The key is not to go overboard; a little/infrequent is okay. Too long does the desensitizing you mention. It’s different for everyone though.
@Deepseacreatur3 Looks great pup! Welcome to the cobalt/aqua club 😋🩵💚
@wolfpup454 das a cute face 🥰. Love me a bright puppy 🩵💚

Alright so, I know most of us in the fandom are seeing a lot of people push for BlueSky over Mastodon but there's one big thing to remember.

#BlueSky is not open, you cannot see posts publicly.

So, what does this mean? It means organizations and #furry #conventions can't use it for sending out updates to all, so it's not immediately viable for them.

You want to get more in the fandom using Mastodon? Follow the furry conventions and organizations set up on here that have already set up accounts and show them you want to use this platform, most cons have an account on https://furrycon.social, otherwise we could see a siphon once BlueSky opens up from lack of use and support on here. (Boosting this would also be nice)

Can't wait for the browser extensions that remove the X branding in favor of Twitter branding.

Call it "soapbar" and advertise that it blocks as much stinky Muskage as possible .

Accidentally sudoed my beer and now it's root beer 😭
@FluffyDeveloper fair. I run into this a fair amount myself. They’re handy for some things but yeah, cumbersome quickly. Nothing wrong with manual classes :3
@FluffyDeveloper believe it or not, I actually agree with you. I’ve given the impression I’m gung ho about altering settings like that; my position was just that it could be changed at an application level (where this is the final tool)/ to diagnose why. Sorry, should have clarified. My personal style is very much the fail-fast/crash/restart of Erlang
