The bike shop said my chain was “shagged”. I had only had it for 9 months 😂 but when I checked Strava I saw I had put 3300km onto it 🙈

#Sitges in Spain is such fun, a lot like Cape Town, although I’d get bored here. I miss London already. Can I have London but with mountains next door?

I’m in #Sitges (Spain) again and I went on a little MTB ride and passed by the “gay beach”. This secluded spot is usually packed with naked men in season. The season isn’t far from starting again. I spotted at least one lonely boy on the prowl.

Kitting out my new Brompton on a sick day. Gotta love #Brompton’s little cutout on the pump mount so it sits securely. I wish they had applied the same attention to detail when they manufactured the rear triangle.

Teenage Engineering just released a new product, the Ep-133 KO II, a sampler/synthesiser (people get very emotional about the designation). It’s a restrictive device but it’s also pretty cool. It’s kind of similar to another “indie” device based on an ARM Cortex M7 called a Dirtywave M8. Anyone planning on getting either? Also I have limited/no experience making music 😂 but synths are tech-interesting… and I can learn 😬

Boots! I live in the UK but I like US boots. Sizing is a challenge, but I found a pair of “vintage” Corcoran Jumpmasters on eBay locally. I know little of leather care, so this was an experiment. I wore them to the shop and they hurt like hell, the leather was buckling, so I set about trying to recondition the leather. I applied Huberd’s shoe oil, the leather soaked it up quickly. Decided on equipping red laces. Wore them to the recent LLM social and they were comfortable :) but a bit small.
