Game night tonight with 7 so we played Zombicide (2nd edition). Ran a bit long (by an hour 😮) but we pulled of an epic victory

I have this backlog of unplayed games that started growing a couple months back & I’ve just been too busy for it. Well I got out a critical product at work so finally going to take some time to catch up. Tonight is for rules reading

Glad for spring but we’re in this funky place now where the temp literally fluctuates 30° up and down over 3 days. My body is feeling whiplash over it all

Had another successful sprint kickoff at work. A bit nostalgic as I lead off with stories of my past job teams

Very busy day: had my little 2yo nephew with me all day, picked up daughter from her very first friend sleepover (that is, non-family), took kiddo to her school’s skating party, and a whole bunch of little things in-between. Quite beat

Glad to have gotten decent sleep last night. Did local voting then kiddo went to birthday party so wife & I got some time to walk, catch up on some shows, & check out a vegetarian cafe

When Julius Caesar broke from the norms and started having his image put on the currency it was the beginning of the end of almost 500 years of Roman Republic. An important realization as America approaches its 250th anniversary 😔

Another large game night tonight so we played Zoo Vadis with a full 7 players. Had to be our most cutthroat play yet but was a lot of fun

Some days are so tied up in coding they fly by without me noticing. It doesn’t even feel like that much got done but there was very little down time. Hoping my brain learned a few things over the day
