I'm just a nerd, sitting in front of a terminal, asking it for root. I like motorcycles, notebooks and pens. Currently Director of Security at a medium-sized fintech.

@jwz The stats we collect for the #SpamAssassin project (mass-scan results from participating sites) have long shown that spammers are more consistent at making SPF, DKIM, and DMARC correct than are legitimate senders. DMARC in particular has no discernible benefit for most senders, so it is a useless signal.

Rejecting mail based solely on authentication failures of those deeply flawed authentication methods does more harm than good.

Sure, Bing and Edge are kinda weird, but what bugs me the most is how this "Open links from search results in a new tab or window" keeps enabling itself and forcing me to find it and disable it, again and again.
I'd rather click the back button on my mouse than go through the hassle of closing a tab.
I really like this practice of keeping a changelog at work.
It helps me remember what I've accomplished, it's good documentation about the workplace, and even helps me refurb my resume.

Keeping a CHANGELOG at Work

Last week I was gathering stories to write a conference talk about "YOLO - How I Broke Prod And You Can Too" and then Crowdstrike went and blew all our stories out of the water.
Talk about going above and beyond!

I'm watching Jason Blanchard's talk "How to Hunt for Jobs like a Hacker" and feeling totally inspired. He's an excellent explainer.
