There are now ships in the game! They'll be very expensive and probably require more end-game resources that you'll find through expeditions around the planet. These ships will give you access to cheaper trades with other players that also have ports/ships around the world.⚓️

@fotsn and @standupmaths ! I wasn't quite satisfied with your question/answer on how big a planet needs to be for a forest fire to never end... Why simplify to a 2d ring when you can have all the beautiful 3d spherical goodness. So I dug a little deeper! Sphere's have so much cool mathematics!
