Holy phuq, I HATE AI with vengeance
OK, I accept the seller doesn’t really know what he has. It’s not a Cassette Deck. It’s not Audio Elcaset
He wants $7,000, but was too damn lazy to make the effort to do any work
The description is utter AI bullshit word salad. It says absolutely nothing 😬😬
I brought home something that I didn't have room for, and probably shouldn't have. A Zenith colour all-tube 26" TV from the mid-1960s. Unfortunately the CRT is pretty weak, although its waking up as I use it.
Will need a bunch of work, but it's damn impressive it produces such a stable picture and sound given it appears to be completely untouched inside.
Model# 8322-6
Chassis# 25MC36
(Not so) fun fact. If you cut and paste some files in Windows File Explorer, then hit undo without realizing it (files are now in "cut" limbo), then do a further action in Explorer (wiping out the redo path), those files are now gone.
Not in the original folder, not in the Recycle Bin...Completely fucking gone. Some quick searching online shows this has been a problem since at least 2015!
Biblically accurate outlet

Sony CVC-2100A camera from 1968, plugged into a Sony CVM-950 from 1969.
TV has just been fixed up with a tube-swap since this one had a dead CRT.
The camera will need a full re-cap, as it's full of those grey ones.
And then I can start working on my CV-2200 open reel video recorder from 1968!
