Villa Augustus. A hotel in a brick-built water tower surrounded by vegetable, fruit & flower gardens. The produce of which I have just sampled. Very tasty.

CryptoNaturalistAt a wildlife rehab facility I met two crows that said, "caw" in a human accent. They said it like a human reading the word "caw" aloud. The tech shook her head and said, "they're making fun of us. People say 'caw' to them all day, so they've started impersonating us." I <3 crows

Well that was an exercise in effing futility. Decided to spend a day in York - clever eh, - in the run up to Christmas. Trains on strike so took the bus, obviously the bus was full to bursting (if I don’t get covid it’ll be a miracle). Two plus hours later arrived in a hell hole packed with the finest stupidity Yorkshire has to offer. Spent two hours negotiating a way through the morons on uneven pavements. Gave up & got the return bus trip of 2hrs! #criplife.
