One of the most influential rap songs of all time (Ether) contained a homophobic slur. Nas took a lot of criticism for this decades later. So he now performs the song without the slur👍🏿

Lizzo released a track with an ableist slur. She took heat for this on Twitter too. She apologized, and re-cut the song without the slur👍🏿

Conversations about what a person said, are valid.

You don't get "cancelled" for mis-speaking. It's the doubling down.

*edit: Nas didn't re-release. There's a clean version.

tonights music is this king gizz song that i forgot to listen to when it came out

and the woodcrafters have run out of wood and has transferred into hauling. guess my problem is solved

one good thing about my fortress is that theres a lot of crafters, meaning that we have a lot of things to trade. the bad thing is that we have barely any haulers or constructors so shit gets left at workshops until traders come and they go "oh shit" and frantically run across the room grabbing shit to put in the depot.

this is even funnier with the fact that the fortress is still at 20~ people on its first year, normally we would be at fifty at this point from my experience, but i guess a fortress called "Murderedsack" isnt very appealing

the cutest thing ever just happened: my master metalcrafter was feeling down (they havent metalcrafted in a while) so when i finally got things organised, i made them craft 4 anvils for the other blacksmiths and armorers. at the same time a baby was born so i also had them make a little metal toy for them. and what did they choose for a toy? a tiny forge for them :)

after that my metalcrafter was feeling much better, its as if they went "yes four anvils for the Big Dwarves and one little one for the youngin'"

i love this game
