Squatting on Yugambeh Land, Australia

I offend occasionally, sad though it is, it's not my intention, I am a truth seeker, not a politician.

and people complain about crypto! Here's a metal they dig up using toxic processing, destroy the local environment, then pout it back in the ground in a vault or trinkets on peoples fingers, ears and necks

What a tragedy it's not banned aside from the micro amounts needed in industry. Having worked at a Gold Mine back in the '80's i have intimate knowledge of how destructive the process is to the environment, let alone the waste piles and tailings dams leaching toxic pollution for centuries to come.

"Gold gets dug out of the ground in Africa, or someplace. Then we melt it down, dig another hole, bury it again and pay people to stand around guarding it. It has no utility. Anyone watching from Mars would be scratching their head. "- Warren Buffett

"Whilst the form of digging holes in the ground known as gold-mining, which not only adds nothing whatever to the real wealth of the world but involves the dis-utility of labor" - last section of Chapter 10 in Keynes' General Theory

Once again, zero mention of the massive pollution and emsiions destruction doing all this makes.

Journalists, how's about at least pointing it out in the article, rather then just being a mouth piece for the tourism marketing boards!
