I am finding sources that say that some states limit the number of children a parent can bring with them to the polling place/in a voting booth, but no cites to statutes/regulations. Anyone working on this issue who could give me a lead on state laws here? I know students are going to ask about it in class tomorrow. :)

My new book on married women's economic rights in the US states is now out! You can order your copy here: https://cup.columbia.edu/book/in-her-own-name/9780231199674

If you'd like to assign this to students, I'd be delighted to Zoom into your class and/or help select specific sections or chapters. Probably most relevant for classes on APD, gender and politics, political economy, and state politics.

Or, if you don't have time for a book in your syllabus, you can find links to podcasts, blog posts, etc.: http://portfolio.du.edu/Sara.Chatfield/page/131830
