@BrodieOnLinux 1) Hating snaps is no longer driven by the merit of this technology. It’s simply socially unacceptable in the community to like snaps or even to admit some of them may have their use cases. 2) When people don’t like a distro, but aren’t able to precisely explain why, some of them say it’s “bloated” and consider it the end of the discussion.
@itsfoss Timeshift, Snapper or Systemback - a snapshot application with short instruction how to use it correctly. Saves life if you screw something up.
@itsfoss Fighting wars about things like which packaging format or init system is the best and why some others should burn in hell. Try to explain these sh*tstorms to a non-tech person.
