Today's "good morning wayland" moment: I was writing a toot when a notification popped up, stole focus from my web browser, but somehow the browser got stuck typing "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" until I clicked back into the text field and hit the "e" key (hitting the key while the window didn't have focus didn't stop it).

Is that wayland? I tend to assume all the random user input and UI nonsense that never happened before I switched must be wayland's fault, at least indirectly, but I don't actually know.

There is no escape. Luke, you do not yet realize your importance. Join me and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, no one in the galaxy can resist us.

Those who continue this destructive conflict will die. Those who think dangerous thoughts and stir others to action—we will find them. The ones who flee their homes and try to build new lives for themselves—we will hunt them down.

With our combined strength, we will bring order to the galaxy! With this order, life will be simpler. Everyone will know their place. There will be no need for further violence. Everyone will trust their neighbors.

Any lingering pockets of resistance will be eradicated like the weeds of society so that order is enforced forever! And then, they're going to give me a Nobel Fucking Peace Prize!!!!!!!!!
