Question: I have an older relative whose Google account is compromised (phishing email from a known person whose account was also compromised, entered google password in a popup window). I walked them through going to the Google account page to change the password, but Google is preventing password reset for up to 72 hours, and won't even allow "forgot password" process to work. The actor appears to be actively emailing contacts with the same phishing email and replying to inbound emails. Any idea how to secure a personal google account when it won't let you change the password?
Separately, what is the recommended password manager for an iPhone for a non-techie person? I don't have an iPhone, so I can't directly evaluate the options.
Question: Anyone have experience with the Snapmaker U1 printer? With 4 separate print heads, and automatic switching from an empty spool, it would likely meet all of my FDM printing needs for prototyping.
The library makerspace Ultimaker S5 is good for 2-color printing, and has a good level of quality/detail, but is relatively slow compared to Bambu X2D (that was recommended as a 2-print head option by a local person who uses the Bambu P1S) and Snapmaker U1 (that I didn't know about before yesterday).
Snapmaker is putting some things out as open source https://github.com/Snapmaker , but I am not sure whether this is opensource, openwashing, or if I just would be working around rough edges on a new product (U1 Kickstarter Fall 2025) with a rugpull at the end.

... even though I did not say that. ๐
New post: FreeBSD resource monitoring and accounting.
A practical tour of the base-system toolkit for figuring out *what is actually using my server*: top, vmstat, systat, gstat, netstat/sockstat, procstat, pfctl, and per-jail attribution with kern.racct and rctl.
No ports, no agents. Just FreeBSD.
