@rizzi I’m testing the new Reeder app, and was curious if you’d planned to introduce the ability to add things to the “Later” saved category that don’t reside within one of the “feeds” you’ve added? I find myself missing the “Read Later” feature from the current Reeder, and would love to send one-off URLs to “Later” (or “Bookmarks” and “Favorites” for that matter) without needing to subscribe to them as a feed first.
When you're developing against Apple technologies and web search takes you to a page with the left header you know you're about to find some good answers. If you see the right header, you know you're about to learn jack shit.

There is a very special joy that comes from using well crafted Mac apps like Nova. It's fast, it's beautiful, it's a great platform citizen and it just feels good to use.

Does it have all the feature of VS code? No, but the one that it has are intentional and that's a strength.

I would choose any day to use something whose craftsmanship brings me join that having more features than I can really use.

@dangillmor Remember, folks. "In the name of open-source collaboration" Google raised a middle finger to WebKit and forked it to be Blink, the engine powering Chrome, Chromium, and about 90% of the ecosystem including Microsoft Edge.

They're rather successfully stealing plays from Microsoft's book, harkening back to the Internet Explorer days. "Embrace, extend, extinguish". [Thanks Brian!]

Monopoly.

Quite the contrast to Apple's day-0 KHTML/WebKit philosophy. https://marc.info/?l=kfm-devel&m=104197092318639

Today, I am excited to reveal that my macOS Mastodon client is called Oliphaunt and here is the public TestFlight link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/QLqIRNwe

Please remember that it is a beta, so it is a work-in-progress and expect some bugs here and there. Some features are not fully implemented and I am aware of some of them and probably forgot others. 🤭

I would really appreciate your feedback. Please share your feedback on GitHub, https://github.com/anosidium/Oliphaunt-Feedback-And-Support

Using TestFlight is a great way to help developers test beta versions of their apps.

I have been pretty quiet here because I have been busy, but now I have something to announce. I built another app. It’s called #Flyleaf and it’s a „read later" app for iPhone, iPad and macOS.

The app is currently in open beta and I would love for you to check it out and give me feedback! You can learn more on my website at https://moehrenzahn.de/project/flyleaf/

@Retcon β20 is out—it's a small update. Mostly bug fixes, but it does add this cute little palette for staging specific lines!

Stoked to finally reveal @Retcon’s major redesign!! 😃

You could already drag-and-drop to rewrite git history, and undo any mistake with ⌘Z.

Now, the app gives you exceptionally clear context whenever conflicts pop up; it guides you along with contextual directions; and it makes committing effortlessly fast, with an innovative combined stage, and keyboard controls. It’s a different kind of git client!

Get the beta at http://retcon.app/, then read on for some juicy details ↓
