The European Commission today published the tentative allocation of the 150 billion euro from the defence fund SAFE, which will be borrowed on the financial markets.
Poland has been allocated the most, followed by Romania. Then a shared third place for France and Hungary.
On Monday, @FTM_eu asked why European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s Signal messages were automatically-deleted, as revealed in an article that day.
Part of the Commission's answer: to save space.

Het Europees Parlement betaalde in vijf jaar tijd 253 miljoen euro aan Europarlementariërs als lumpsum vergoeding voor kantoorkosten. Voor het eerst is duidelijk hoeveel overgebleven geld (voormalige) Europarlementariërs vrijwillig hebben teruggestort.
In vijf jaar tijd, in de zittingsperiode 2019-2024, hebben Europarlementariërs in totaal 4,3 miljoen euro teruggestort. Er is dus minder dan 2 procent terugbetaald.
Het Europees Parlement betaalde in vijf jaar tijd 253 miljoen euro aan Europarlementariërs als lumpsum vergoeding voor kantoorkosten. Het vraagt leden om geld dat over is, terug te storten. In de periode 2019-2024 deed jaarlijks minder dan 1 op de 10 leden dat. In totaal retourneerden zij 4,3 miljoen euro – nog geen 2 procent van het totaal.
