Wrote a little method like this recently and it sparked joy. Ruby is the best
I’ve really come to appreciate audiobooks. Been chewing through a few of them on Spotify now that they’re part of premium. This one’s a real page turner… so to speak
My only caveat to this is that doing this search is a bit trickier than it should be. You want to make sure you select the calendar date icon from the search results to ensure you’re not just searching for photos that contain then number “23” in them, for example. 🤪

Finally checking out #Phlex ! I started with a simple NavButton component. Pairing it with the ActiveModel API works really nice.
I think replacing your view code “inside-out" is the way to go, ie. starting as small as you can, and gradually working out to larger partials and views.
