Last week I published my second book. It's called Unlocked: The real science of screen time (and how to spend it better), and does exactly what it says on the tin. If you want to cut through the hype and scaremongering, this might be for you: https://linktr.ee/unlockedbook

I’ve got a new book out. It’s called Unlocked: the real science of screen time (and how to spend it better), and it’s about the complex, messy state of the evidence base underpinning many of our fears about digital technologies. It’s also about finding ways to think differently, and more productively, about our own relationships with screens. New Scientist have called it “a realistic tonic to the doom and gloom”. You can get it here: https://linktr.ee/unlockedbook

A few years ago, I found an old stack of my Dad’s camcorder videos at my Nan’s house. It took a while, but I did finally manage to digitise them. Just a few random silly videos here and there, but all absolute gold dust for me.

I think I’ve finally caught him up to the age he was in this clip, maybe give or take a year. He’d be 70 today though. I would have liked very much to have celebrated that with him.
