Using a natural experiment that avoids common bias concerns, this study finds that the live-attenuated shingles vaccine reduced the probability of a new dementia diagnosis within a follow-up period of 7 years by approximately one-fifth.

I was trying to make a Paper Plane but I couldn’t find the right amaro. Grabbed Fernet-Branca but it was too strong; mellowed it with a half-shot of OJ.
Recipe for two:
2 oz. Bourbon
2 oz. Fernet-Branca
2 oz. Aperol
1 oz. orange juice
Shake together over ice, strain into two martini glasses.
