i am APPALLED that so many influencers and small businesses don't back up their content and repurpose/reupload to different platforms (even if it is only for their own enjoyment or backup if their account gets banned), i am even more appalled that regular people don't regularly save their content if it includes stuff like your beloved cat or grandma!!!! PLEASE don't be caught saving videos in 90 days because you forgot!!!!
hey americans, tiktok is back, which means it is time to save every single video you posted on the platform and back it up, save videos you have favorited/will find useful (screen record if needed, it's ugly but it will work), save videos that may be important or relevant later (especially if it's videos of current events or something like that), just save as much stuff as possible. youtube tiktok compilations and influencer snark pages have been/are unfortunately putting in the work here

The TikTok ban, the Musk Twitter takeover, the Facebook moderation policy changes, the Republicans’ rapidly intensifying crackdowns on speech... let these be the proof you needed to move anything you care about online to a space you control.

Digital sovereignty is more important than ever.

Connecticut allows towing companies to sell some people’s cars after just 15 days — one of the shortest windows in the country.

The sales have particularly affected low-income people, who have lost jobs after they were unable to get their cars back.
