@ChrisMayLA6 @etchedpixels it's the classic problem with cars. If you listen to those who don't want to get a small compact ev, every single day they:
- transport a large fridge
- plus a family of 8
- drive >1200km without so much as a pee break
- must refuel in under 3 minutes.
When the reality is lost cars are idle 96% of the time, average occupancy is 20%, and the average journey distance is under 5km.
Most people don't need an EV. They need a bike and cycle lanes.
“your ai slop bores me” is incredible. Love it as an art piece and entertainment already.
The problem with renewable energies is that they're just not reliable enough.
Where is your wind and solar power supposed to come from now that the strait of Hormuz is blocked?
PSA: The Amazon wishlist doxing threat is much greater and more immediate than folks might realize. Attack works like this:
Stalker who wants your address opens an Amazon seller account and lists themselves as a third party seller for any item on your public wishlist. Then, they order the item from themselves as a gift for you. Bam, they have your address.
In particular, attack does not depend on an existing third party seller having poor PII handling hygiene, like the articles have implied.
Dreamt i feel asleep on the couch, and when i awoke in the dream, i was so confused to find myself there with all the lights on in the house when i was sure i remembered having gone to bed.
I got up to go to bed, but when i walked into my bedroom, i found two bikes, bikes that weren't mine, parked on the bed.
As i looked around, i saw more things that weren't mine. In the kitchen we even more things. I opened the fridge and it had been stuffed with a bunch of prepackaged pies.
Then i heard a noise at the window. A man was standing there smiling. "Emily, do you like all the things i brought you?" he asked.
"I don't know who you are! What is all this stuff?!" I shouted back at him.
He smiled. "You don't have to yell at me," he said. "It seems like you're in a mood though, so I'll come back later."
Then as I watched through the window, he walked down my driveway and disappeared into the night.
