Imagine yourself as a police officer. Hopefully you don't consider yourself racist! You're all ready to fix the system "from the inside" by being a good cop.

Your police chief tells you that you must write 200 tickets a month. If you fail to write 200 tickets a month you will be fired.

Imagine you write a ticket for a rich white lawyer that lives in Atherton. They can easily afford the $80 ticket; they bill out at $800/hr! But they will take a day off work just to go fight the ticket in court🤡

"Assault vehicles" actually seems like a pretty apt name for wildly oversized vehicles that don't offer any additional utility but are more likely to kill pedestrians. Are folks going to argue these vehicles are protected under the second amendment now?

Utah didn’t ban youth hormone therapy such as testosterone boosters for cis boys. It didn’t ban “gender affirming surgery” such as breast augmentation for cis girls.

Just for trans kids.

You know, in case you’re wondering if lawmakers are really out to “protect the children” like they claim.

Thanks to whoever nominated me for Washingtonian magazines's 2023 Most Influential People. They asked, for purposes of narrowing down their presumably very long list of nominees, whether I have a hidden talent, who I would invite to a dinner party, and what my walk-up song is. My walk-up song is the Fisher Price riff on heads shoulders knees and toes until BabyData gets a toy with a new tune, ffs. I declined to participate.
