Today is one of those days where I accidentally write a 490 mb .XLS report file on the shared drive ... #AnalChem #RealTimeChem

Arrgh! There were gremlins in the lab messing with my GC runs this weekend #RealTimeChem
Walked out of a white elephant gift exchange today with a 25kg bag of flour, so this'll be a Christmas to remember!
I built a #RStats #Mastadon bot with the #RToot package. Ask me anything!👨‍💻
It's not perfect but it's a great start! Successful GCxGC of a diesel, utilizing of all the dimensional space with clear grouping of component types. 🤓 #RealTimeChem #Chemiverse

Maybe it's the new way of thinking compared to classical GC, maybe it's that GC is dimension^2 hard (or even higher order?)

Anyway, it makes me appreciate all those awesome folks who have done this for decades already!

Like, I'm figuring it out. But I've been deep in method implementation and development for a simple reverse phase GCxGC (with recommended parameters!) for a while now, and finally making progress. But when I looked at my notes I realized it's been a solid month of work to get here - first tests were 28 Oct. That's atypical for me, either it's a lazy month to implement a chromatography method, because I'm working on something else, or (more likely) a few hours or days to implement and validate.
It's my favourite to get angry emails "to those of you who haven't yet responded to my earlier email: please do so ASAP" when the earlier email had no question or response hook "unless this is an issue". My job is doing chemistry, not filling your inbox... #RealTimeChem
