In the heat dome areas - cover all parking lots with solar panels - or just cover them and paint the cover white.
Apartment complexes first.
Grocery stores and other commercial lots later.

This story about the Algae trees for urban areas has gone viral a couple of times.
One of these things replaces 2 10 yr old trees. Meaning the algae which doesn't take 10 years to grow can start replacing Carbon at a faster rate than planting trees would.
Building some of these things and filling them with algae is faster than growing trees. Not better, than trees, but faster. So do some of both. Build ten of these and plant 20 trees. As the trees grow, move these liquid trees and plant trees in it's place. Keep the liquid trees doing what they do. Take CO2 out of the atomsphere.
Scientists have discovered that the pace of groundwater depletion in California's Central Valley has accelerated dramatically during the drought as heavy agricultural pumping has drawn down aquifer levels to new lows and now threatens to devastate the underground water reserves.
I need a new starter for my car.
Crap!!!!
I would like to see a list of all of the hashtags I'm following.
Mastodon - is this a thing?
Because it's decentralized, Disney (for example) could in theory use their own Server Farm and have all of their employees post from it.
The same for large news organizations / conglomerates.
Then each org could set their own rules for posting and interactions. Based on the Mastodon Rules/Regs.
hunh
Corporate / Large organizations could have more control over their social media presence.
So slowly finding authors I read.
Major Sports not here yet. Yet?
Major News sources. Not really. Some of my local TV stations are just starting here.
The National News guys, not yet. They seem to be trying. NBC News has a bot. ABC local, but not national. CBS, not sure it's really them. USA Today? it looks like they are setting things up.
No Mercury News. SF Chronicle has a placeholder.
Twitter had it's problems, but it worked.
