Hey guys. My mom made a gofundme for the move. If any of you can donate even a dollar, I'll be extremely grateful.

You can also boost this if you can't help out money-wise. I'd appreciate it.

My family and I are going through a huge change.  Al, my partner of 20 years asked me for a divorce and I signed the papers.  I love him and wish him the best.  Now, I'm looking into my future and seeing a new life playing lots of music.  My daughter who is on disability and I are moving together...

I tend to get sick when my period is coming. It’s happened these past two months.

ARGH, I JUST DON’T WANNA FEEL LIKE A BIG PILE OF SHIT!

Whoo boy, I’ve been holding that one in for a while.

Anyway, I’m not gonna say I’ve made peace with it, but more important things are happening in my life that divert my attention from it.

One of the questions I have is—is this cerebral palsy? A mild kind that doesn’t show physical symptoms very well, like you gotta squint to see it?

I’m still looking shit up, and it’s mentally exhausting, trying to figure out what the hell is going on with your body.

@pazzytalks There’s still so much I’m unsure of, and there more questions than answers.

Like, I’m probably gonna see if my insurance can allow MRIs or something, because words don’t cut it for me. I need to see actually evidence. Where is the injury, where is the damage?

The psychiatrist who I went to in order to get SSI diagnosed me with birth trauma. A brain injury sustained at birth, to be exact.

I wasn’t expecting that at all, and it really punched me in the gut to hear that.

I would have written it off as ableist bullshit (cuz autism being believed as something to prevent, something broken) but when I looked into it...a lot of the criteria fit.

This happened almost a year(?) ago, but it still gets to me.

Another question, unrelated to the last one:

Can someone have cerebral palsy without having severe symptoms?

Asking for a friend.

#disability

It’s 5:26 am, and you know what that means.

Time to look online about my diagnosis and try to figure out what the doctor who diagnosed me meant by birth trauma. 🙃🙃🙃

I encourage any of you who are confused about this to learn about the colonization of Hawaii. This isn’t anything new, but it’s incredibly upsetting.

As a Native Hawaiian, this really saddens me to see a Hawaiian man arrested for speaking our native language in Hawaii. But I am not surprised; this is par for the colonized course. https://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2018/01/25/Hawaii-judge-orders-arrest-of-man-who-spoke-Hawaiian-language-in-court/8471516857580/?spt=su&or=btn_tw
