@TZaple I'm testing out a macos client called "Whalebird." It's not bad, but not great either. Needs polish. Anyway, here I have something called "Public timeline" ... would that be toots from the entire federation?

Noob question ... but what does "local timeline" mean? Like, how local? Local to what?
