@marcoarment love the new Overcast. đ„ Some of the little features you teased are in the pipeline really sound great!
I have a technical question: how did you implement the bottom drawer for the playback settings in the podcast playing sheet? Itâs not another SwiftUI sheet I donât think. Custom implementation with ZStack?
@caseyliss as per the recent discussion of document scanning on @atpfm: thereâs a wonderful software called Paperless-ngx that can ingest documents from a smb share (or any folder). It automatically runs OCR and categorizes the files with auto-training ML classifiers.
Itâs super powerful and you can host it on your Synology đ
I also happen to have written an iOS app in SwiftUI (https://apps.apple.com/de/app/swift-paperless/id6448698521?l=en-GB) that I think goes great with this setup!
âSwiftPaperless is a native iOS app that interacts with the popular Paperless-NGX document management software. Paperless-NGX is self-hosted, and therefore fully privacy preserving: you control your data! With SwiftPaperless, it's easy to find, categorize and also add documents from your phone!
@atpfm I have one Sonos product, the Roam, and I have the exact problem that @siracusa reported a couple times on the show: the audio is choppy over AirPlay. Sometimes it gets fixed by turning device and apps off and on again, sometimes it doesnât.
This has never (not a single time) happened with any of my HomePods, not even the original big one.
This actually turned me off of buying any more Sonos gear for e.g. the TV.
