Going to try moving my Mastodon account.. hold my beer..

This is a step too far in the battle for market share. Manipulating the pages of your competitors is not fair game.

Browser share should be won though user choice and merit.

Hmm, okay if I press down *very slowly*, then I realise I can feel the tactile bump that browns are supposed to have. Not sure I’d notice it in normal use.
Bought a switch tester because I’m thinking about getting a mechanical keyboard. I can tell the clicky ones apart from the rest (blue and clear), but when it comes to brown vs red I don’t feel the “tactile bump” that browns are supposed to have. The only difference I feel is the browns having more resistance than reds. Maybe this is because they’re low profile, or maybe I’m a philistine.

3x55: Appropriately for our first Mastodon post is a show about Mastodon! What's it all about? Is Mastodon the new Twitter, and is it trying to be? And how far have we got into it?

This meme has been rattling around in my head for at least a year and I only just now finally bothered to write it down

When I started on mastodon I picked my home server based on what join mastodon sort-of showed me as the most “default” looking. Now that I know a little more I’m wondering if I should move. Do I go to mastodon.scot ( my geo political identity ), or to fosstodon ( my hippy FOSS identity )..?

TIL you can plug a keyboard and mouse into the PS5 to get **far superior** control in FPS games. Not sure if all games support this, but the one game I tried did.

accidentally wrote "saad" instead of "saas" in a text to my partner; they immediately coined "Software as a Disappointment"

and honestly, where is the lie
