Fury From The Deep 58 years ago OTD in 1968. A terrifying 2nd Doctor adventures from Season Five. Director Hugh David wrings every ounce of psychological tension from Pemberton’s fantastic story featuring a seething weed creature and the the grotesque Oak & Quill! #DoctorWho
Axos calling Earth, Axos calling Earth... " Doctor Who The Claws of Axos first aired 55 years ago OTD in 1971. Classic 70's Who at its best, and still one of my favourite 3rd Doctor & Jo Grant adventures featuring the Master and UNIT. #DoctorWho
Lost Doctor Who episodes found in 'eclectic' collection. Both episodes are from the The Dalek Masterplan, featuring the first Doctor, played by William Hartnell. #doctorWho https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g7kwq1k11o

Davros, creator of the Daleks, first appeared 51 years ago OTD in Part 1 of the classic 1975 story: Genesis of the Daleks. Davros would go on to become one of the greatest adversaries the Doctor has ever known. #DoctorWho
The Ark first aired 60 years ago OTD in 1966. It's a well crafted 1st Doctor story, set across two different eras, and is also Dodo's first full adventure. The jungle set, direction and complex themes of human–Monoid integration more than make up for any shortcomings. #DoctorWho
Enlightenment aired 43 years ago OTD in 1983. Barbara Clegg's exceptional 5th Doctor story concludes the Black Guardian Trilogy. With great performances, lavish period detail, and excellent SFX its the jewel in the crown of the programmes twentieth anniversary year. #DoctorWho
The Talons of Weng-Chiang first aired 49 years ago OTD in 1977. This classic 4th Doctor & Leela story rounds off the Hinchcliffe / Holmes era in fine style with a visit to Victorian London. Christopher Benjamin and Trevor Baxtor are also superb as Jago and Litefoot. #DoctorWho
The Sea Devils first aired 54 years ago OTD in 1972. Pertwee and Delgado shine in this exciting story, with a superb supporting cast, along with its excellent location filming, The Sea Devils remains one of the best stories from the 3rd Doctor’s era. #DoctorWho
Death To The Daleks first aired 52 years ago OTD in 1974. It's a mixed bag, an atmospheric if flawed story, but still a fun runaround with the 3rd Doctor and Sarah marooned on Exxilon with an Earth expedition and the Daleks! #DoctorWho
The Sontaran Experiment first aired 51 years ago #OTD in 1975. This action packed two-parter is a great showcase for the 4th Doctor, Sarah and Harry. Kevin Lindsay was superb as Styre & the location filming at Hound Tor gave the story a fittingly ominous atmosphere. #DoctorWho
