Really need to bump the version of noisebridge.social. If anyone @ noisebridge would be interested in potentially sharing in the administrative load that'd be great!
Getting the urge to replace a bunch of parts in my gaming rig. Hard to believe they're already 5 years old! Convinced I'll also see a considerable FPS jump in ARMA at this point as I'm almost definitely CPU bound.

Remember when #Twitter had #RSS / #Atom feeds for all users? Wasn't that great? Well, #Mastodon and any other #Fediverse server has that too. And it's here to stay, since the protocol is based on this.

Here's mine, for example: https://mastodon.social/users/rysiek.atom

Now you can use your favorite RSS reader to read my toots. I know, right?

I seem to remember there being a mailing list of some sort for mastodon instance admins? Is it worth joining now that there's a noisebridge.social instance in the wild?
Finding that this $dayjob week's work of automating the deployment of a service in an isolated AWS account with terraform has been a really awesome learning experience in how all of the AWS components play together. Really powerful stuff.
Terraform is very much the future. The ease of spinning up infrastructure in a reliable fashion without having to click through endless AWS console pages is simply wonderful.
I have a strong desire to make this into some form of art using @noisebridge's laser cutter and other fun tools.
credit for this iteration of the quote goes to the awesome dawuud (who should really get on this here mastodon train) https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/tor-dev/2016-September/011486.html

One added side-bonus of getting up at 7am to walk doggo is getting to see the Golden Gate Bridge each morning. For someone who grew up thinking that they'd make it to CA once on some sort of technology pilgrimage this makes me smile *every* time. I feel incredibly fortunate to be in this place and at this time.
