I was looking for something to help track the kid’s hot wheels so we don’t end up with too many duplicates. Found this app that I can’t use without starting a trial and lies about how long it is 😞
So apparently the range of thread is dogshit? I’ve been struggling with a houseful of thread devices not working reliably or at all. Caved and bought a new Apple TV to have a border router in the living room and everything is perfect. 🙃🙃🙃
@caseyliss listening to you talk about Ticketmaster fees on the latest @atpfm and I had to chime in that I’ve regularly bought tickets where the fees are more than the ticket. Last time it was an $18 ticket and $21 in fees. Infuriating

@marcoarment would it be possible for you to sync show note position with chapters in @overcastfm? I don’t know much about how chapters are implemented in the audio files but I’m wondering if the show notes could include an html attribute that matches the chapter identifier and then you could parse and sync that up during playback?
It's really frustrating when companies don't support HomeKit but then also don't allow their iOS apps to be installed on Apple Silicon macs. *angrily shakes fist at Dyson*
@nickheer re: your post about location sharing among friends, one use case for this is safety. A female friend had a bad date experience one time and decided to share her location with my wife and I “just in case™"
There's a much better chance that she texts me a location to come and pick her up from. But sharing her location put her at ease.
