Sheril KirshenbaumBeatrix Potter is best remembered for her charming tales of Peter Rabbit, but did you know she also studied #science?
Potter collected & examined beetles, butterflies, plants, bird eggs, shells, rocks, fossils & especially fungi. She conducted experiments & wrote a scientific paper with her own illustrations, presented at the Linnean Society of London. @GottaLaff to be fair, it was Bracewell & G for about a nanosecond. And criminals of every stripe need good representation in our system of government. I would not like to be judged by each person I dated. Every lawyer has had clients that make the lawyer “hold their nose.”

@kristineehunt Agree. The accessibility issue works both ways of course. When I began teaching secondary students in the 80s and college in the 90s, I could grade anything, anywhere. Decades later, MY requirements for detailed, fair and efficient grading have changed with my eyes.
