It's back.
The Even Realities G1s totally deserve THREE major design awards! They're my daily pair of glasses and always surprise people with how they look like a normal pair of glasses. If only they had speakers and/or a camera and they'd be perfect.
Being able to run Mentra OS on them is also a major plus, even though I'm sure that wasn't on the awards criteria 😅
That's the new me right there. No hat! No glasses! A fresh start!
At least that's the start of each day that most don't see. Just as raw and full of potential as my day is, that's the boundless potential of The Reality Crafters from this moment.

My first attempts with Meta AI weren't ideal:
1. "Hey Meta, remember this bottle" (I had StrangeLove Lo-Cal Soda which is pretty obscure... hadn't heard of it until this week)
2. Meta sees a bottle of water
3. "Hey Meta, remind me what I was drinking earlier"
4. Meta says "You were drinking water".
YouTube Music says I was the life of the party in 2024. I believe this is my 10 week old daughter's influence and insistance on dance parties at all hours.
Life update! I wore shoes on both feet for the first time today post-surgery! No more post-surgery shoe! Foot is sore and achey after, even with pretty minimal walking, but it's a big STEP!
Also proud to do it with @meriamber in matching Book 1s ❤️
It's crazy how far artificial intelligence has come since my talk at Web Directions Code 2017, and yet, still moved slower than hyped 😅 A lot of the worries in 2017 are only truly hitting their stride now — deepfakes, AI empowered with LOTS of data, career impacts... etc.
