Today hitting "deploy" on a small step with ReadWith that's been long in the making...
If you're in the beta:
Look for the "Invite others to read with you" link.
If you're interested in joining the beta, hit me up, I'll add a few spots.
Today I'm sending out updates to friends with whom I've been reading books with my ReadWith app.
The new version of ReadWith is redesigned, adds a way to discover other friends whose book reading notes I've vouched for.
Looking forward to hear people's feedback.
I'm thinking of putting together a local meetup for #Ottawa Devs and Creatives called "Minimum Viable Meetup".
We'd run recurring "Projects Night" events, bi-weekly, at a downtown co-working spot called MBO.
Is there a logo (these are from Logology) you think I should pick in here?
1-4.
You guys like the hash pattern?
Hey #CSS folks...
Anybody know how to pull off a box like this:
- two lines of text, balanced (equal words per line)
- min-width of say 12 chars, text on one-line if lower char count
- feels like an inline-block
- box doesn't grow in size to fit text on one line
I'm working some more on ReadWith today, getting it ready to start sharing some of my reading notes as samples.
Then I'll be putting a purchase link and making a strong pitch for those who'd like to read this book with me, those hungry for thinking through ideas, just not alone.
