Bought a flux capacitor? You can now edit the part specs and set them to correct values!

Many more exciting things are in the pipeline. Copycats (you know who you are), get your photocopiers warmed up, you might have trouble keeping up. This year is going to be interesting!

Hah! You thought you could go more than two weeks without a PartsBox update? Well YOU THOUGHT WRONG. Here is a new round of updates (along with exciting new bugs🐞):

* Stock used in builds
* Part usage also includes projects where the part is a substitute or meta-part member
* Meta-parts column: part tables can now have a meta-parts column
* Order total value as a column
* PDF exports now include thumbnails
* BOM pricing PDF export with price-vs-quantity tables
* Company logo in exports

We've been busy busy busy at PartsBox. Here's what's new:

* Replace a part across multiple BOMs

* Convert any part to a meta-part

* Builds: sub-assembly costs based on actual consumption, resulting lots visible in build view, per-build/per-entry attrition control

* Custom fields: importable via BOM, bulk rename/delete, now on builds too

* Lot cost columns, editable order quantities in purchase lists

* Plus: image previews on hover, searchable ID Anything™ codes

PartsBox: Electronic components inventory, ordering and production

Electronic components inventory management software. Keeps track of where your parts are stored, manages BOMs and production.

Everything is back up with no data loss. Apologies for the interruption!
PartsBox is currently down, because of a complete failure of the NVMe controller on the primary server in the cluster (of course). Working on restoring functionality as soon as possible.

A customer told me they would like to see the comment of the last build stage in the builds table. I didn't immediately see how that was useful, but I implemented it.

Turns out that the "Last stage comment" field wasn't just useful for the builds table. It was even more useful for printed labels! When printing a label for a multi-stage build (a PCB being populated) it is now possible to print current build status on the label.

This is useful when labeling PCBs (or trays) with current status.

Visiting my customers is always fun and rewarding. PartsBox has incredibly cool customers and I get to meet smart people building interesting electronics. But seeing your software being used to build *aircraft* is on an entirely new level!

When buying electronic parts for upcoming production, PartsBox (https://partsbox.com/) always calculated what needs to be purchased based on already available local stock. But not all local stock can be used for production! Parts might be in a different location, allocated towards other purposes, or owned by a different client.

Now you can filter local stock based on storage location names, tags, lot tags, lot expiration dates, or any other conditions!
