Frustrating / significant issue with Lightroom on Ventura - since I updated, Lightroom is very slow to identify files on the camera and can even fail to find them all. So if you select "everything" to download, then format the camera, you lose a bunch of images.

Going to try to use photorec (https://cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec) on the card once I've got a CFexpress reader ($75 lost to this bug so far), but a 10 Gbps USB-C cable to the camera worked fine until I upgraded OSX. Not best pleased.

Recent evidence suggests that my photos of the moon get significantly more engagement than my bird photos.

Given the relative prevalence of birds and moons around here, I’m uncertain on how to capitalize on this.

As most of my Flickr wildlife photos are by-nc-nd, (with a fairly relaxed approach when small or semi-commercial groups want to use them) they pop up in various places.
