Can we just stop with "fireworks month" now in the UK? What purpose does it serve any more? It just upsets me and my housemate, and the dog goes absolutely ballistic any time there's any sort of noise. If it were legally mandated to being a single weekend, I would be OK with that, but it just goes on and on...
Well, that's me done with Ubuntu 24.04.1 upgrades at employer. All our 22.04.4 VMs were upgraded during the week without issue, and our last two VMs (20.04) were brought to 24.04.1 today. Hopefully, that will mean I can relax a little bit for a little while.
