Hi! My name is Adrian (any pronouns) and I'm raising funds to help me move into an affordable housing unit! I was recently taken off the waitlist, however, I only have 10 days to set up the interview and I don't have the funds I need to move. I don't want to miss this chance at having my own place, especially with an eviction on my record from my previous abusive roommates. I'm applying to jobs daily and am trying to recoup after wasting $506 on a plane ticket and $100 on apartment applications for a job in another state that fell through. I'm also in the process of changing my name legally and it is incredibly expensive! If my fee waiver request is not approved, it will cost me $450 to file for my California birth certificate; the savings I had for my move are being depleted and it's very stressful.
