Trump was elected President because of the stupidity of the Democratic Party. They selected an old man who was too far to the left. For example, Biden let illegal migrants flood in despite polls showing most Americans wanted secure borders. Then when he dropped out, it was too late to have another convention to select a replacement. Instead, Kamala Harris was appointed, a person who so dumb said she would have done nothing different than Biden despite knowing that the Republican strategy was to associate her with Biden.

Talarico should concentrate on courting Republicans and independents. In a Red state like Texas, his policies have to be not too far to the left.

Most voters are not on the extreme left or right. The centrist Merz became chancellor of Germany.

Prince Harry exemplifies the qualities of I mentioned except I don’t know whether his views are centrists and of course he is not a US citizen, but John F. Kennedy would be another example.

The ideal Senate Democrat should have centrist views, young, a military veteran, articulate, and a family man. Prince Harry would be an example if he were a US citizen and had centrist views.

Climate and energy affordability should be part of Democrats platform, but the economy will always be the top issue.

Trump thought that under massive bombing Iran would surrender. He also thought Iranians would start massive protests against the regime. He envisioned the US involved in producing Iranian oil and making a profit, similar to Venezuela. The problem is Iran is far from the US and Russia and China can exert greater influence.

Democrats should recruit Joe Kent to their party.

The US should normalize relations with Cuba. Cuba is a communist country, but the country isn’t plagued by gangs and the people aren’t starving.
