Eugen Rochko just wrote in his Reddit AMA β€œI guess our elephant mascot finally has a name, John.”

Thank you Eugen, I accept this great honor.

OK, here it goes. Why quote-posting is a critical positive feature we need to get on this platform. A 🧡 of uses (I'll start; feel free to add)

How cool would it be to have an active transport trail that connects every capital city in Australia, with facilities to cater for long distance tourers and hikers, and the ability for businesses to open up en route to further support users.

It would follow the rail trail format, and would allow for walkers, cyclists, e-cyclists, and horse riders. It would provide active transport links between a number of major cities in each state that it services. It would be low maintenance and low cost, and perhaps provide economic benefits to the towns it passes through

Fun fact: the MP3 file format is as old today as 8-track tapes were when MP3 was invented

Using #vim is easy once you learn a few basic keybindings.

It seems often whenever I delete mkv files from the media folder, MiniDLNA will totally freak out and corrupt its own database, then start spamming the log file. Fun times.
"Our Flag Means Death" is good fun.
