How cool would it be to have an active transport trail that connects every capital city in Australia, with facilities to cater for long distance tourers and hikers, and the ability for businesses to open up en route to further support users.

It would follow the rail trail format, and would allow for walkers, cyclists, e-cyclists, and horse riders. It would provide active transport links between a number of major cities in each state that it services. It would be low maintenance and low cost, and perhaps provide economic benefits to the towns it passes through
