@elizhargrave this looks absolutely awesome, can't wait to hear more about it
@gpage @sirideain Good idea! I don't need space urgently, though, it's more so the money and it not getting played. I don't think my friend would be interested, but if he does express interest I'll hand it to him.

Considering selling Barrage.

(Collection is about 14 full sized games)

pros
- more space
- more money
- BGA adaptation is amazing so I can still enjoy it
- it competes with Brass Birmingham because it's another heavy industrial interactive Euro

cons
- Barrage is an amazing game in its own right
- lose the solo
- one of my friends liked it when we played Barrage with his roommate

sell Barrage
100%
don't sell Barrage

@AllTheAmpersands aw,, I'm sorry
@pgh_gamer It's one for the ages.

Only have 200 Iron Clays now and no other poker chips.

I will (probably) receive Shikoku 1889 from the Kickstarter, is it worthwhile to play with money cards (not paper money), are the chips a *must* must?

@erik_a_sunden Oath comes to mind as a possible example. I've not played it yet but the "campaign" action in that game resembles a "system" - the same action simulates anything from petty fights to theft to large scale conflict. John Company 2e's "check" system uses the same dice mechanism with different parameters (different numbers of dice and different outcomes).

Go, of course, is probably a prime example, with eyes, miai, etc. as emergent structures.

@425suzanne @SteveTassie Tigris and Euphrates, Go (heh), El Grande, Hansa Teutonica, Race for the Galaxy
@bethsobel Happy birthday!
I begrudgingly let go of Inis because El Grande and The King Is Dead were smarter yet.
