One of the most beautiful discoveries on our gamedev journey has been @fuzzyghost , and here's something to convince you of how wonderful they are: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvyDqNFdqTB703jvYFd4-hd0mpYiHqs5T

@wundergeek hi! we are a mess of game devs (that's the right collective name for a group of people making games, right?) from Italy, trying to talk about marginalized identities in the local scene.
We released a small game this year about being non-binary, working on a TTRPG for two people about coming out in a small town, and with many more projects on the way ❤️
@blueberrysoft waiting for the new version of the function, pespective(d, curvature), so that we can finally make sweet, sweet, non-euclidean websites.
@blueberrysoft the fact CSS has this perspective function is something that is both terrifying and wonderful.
#RainbowGameJam2022 gave us the motivation to finally setup a CI/CD for a WebGL Unity project. Got a long detour trying to set up self-hosted runners (fruitlessly, sigh!), but still learned quite a lot and very happy that the rest of the team will soon be able to test new versions almost on the fly as we develop ^_^. Big shoutout to the people at https://game.ci/ for the great actions and documentation!

The fastest and easiest way to automatically test and build your game projects

In the last two days, two non-binary people have approached us for our game telling us how much they loved it and how much they felt it near to their experience and there is nothing more we could have asked for 🥺🥺🥺
@deshipu I think this expect / actually duality is really useful for getting to the point of bugs and irregular behaviour, but do you think it's useful for game design purposes?

One of the most difficult things receiving negative feedback is to hold back the instinctive need to defend your precious, little child and try to pose the right questions in order to understand what exactly went wrong and how to make your game even better.

What are your go-to questions when you receive negative feedback? What are the general guidelines you use to get useful information out of them?

@Indiepocalypse what kind of rejections did you experience? it's really sad, especially given how small our environments usually are and how much stronger we would be working together :-(

Today is the day! In five hours we will finally release our first game, "non-binary"!
We all know how much work it takes to even make something small, so... here's some pictures of the work we've done!
Funny fact: yes, there's no screenshot of Unity or anything else. Well, I mean, we all know most of the gamedev work is outside of the development environment, right? ;D
