*Very minor spoilers ahead for ****When the wolf comes home***

Lately I have been trying something new when it comes to picking the next book to read. Ill chose a genre on Hardcover.app and then pick a book ***solely*** based on its cover and title. I won't read reviews or even the synopsis. Its been a fun experiment that has lead to some neat finds that I would have not otherwise read.

I just finished **When the wolf comes home** by Nat Cassidy. What a wild read and not at all what I was expecting. The who framed roger rabbit reference was 10/10. The book itself was probably closer to a 7/10 but well worth the read and not something I would have normally picked up.

I'm curious if anyone else ever picks books in this fashion. If so, I'd like to hear about any discoveries you have made while doing so!

Due to *gestures broadly*, I decided to finally make the move to the #fediverse and join #mastodon and #lemmy

As someone with anxiety and a serious case of analysis paralysis, trying to choose an instance has been quite the trying experience.

How on earth do you even pick one??
