I don't know why it seems so impossible to have a critique that isn't based in the identities of the characters.

I have blocked so many dozens of reviewers because of this nonsense.

I like the game, but I'll admit the dialogue was hokey; however, reviewers seem real pressed to just say that.

Just once, I'd like to hear a reviewer bring up Dragon Age without insinuating that the dialogue was bad *because the characters are queer.
Maybe it’s just me, but I’d much rather have an entire undocumented immigrant family with two happy trans kids living right next door to me than a white supremacist or a racist MAGA lunatic any day of the week.

Werewolf The Apocalypse: Earthblood has to be one of the most wildly oscillating games in terms of its quality based on the angle you approach it from.

As an RPG: crapola

As a representative of its source material: bad

As a beat-em-up: decent

As furry bait: awesome

The most insidious aspect of AI is writing in a tone that sounds authoritative without any actual authority to back it up.

Even if every energy and permission related issue with AI was solved tomorrow, it would still be incredibly dangerous, as its whole schtick is to sound convincing.

If you ask it questions you already know the answers to, you'll soon find where it very convincingly gives you incorrect information.

But here's the thing: if you're asking, then you probably won't be asking it questions you already know the answers to, at some point it will convincingly give you wrong data, and you won't have the tools to recognize it.

Entering my malorkus era.

This is something I'll never be able to wrap my head around, and I've watched it proliferate in the furry fandom for years now.

FNAF creator Scott Cawthon has a history of donating heavily to almost exclusively Republican political candidates, including the loathsome and disgusting Donald Trump. His anti-LGBTQIA+ stance is just as repugnant and toxic as that of JK Rowling, yet the fanart of Cawthon's characters continues apace, with no sign of ever abating.

The furry fandom (with the exception of some repulsive outliers) has a history of supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and issues important to its survival and societal comfort. Am I to understand that, just because there's a bear, fox, and other characters some find appealing and/or sexy, Cawthon gets a pass?

It's like furries that go out of their way to eat at Chick-fil-A despite the fact that the restaurant's owners not only donate to anti-LGBTQIA+ causes, but bankroll poisonous legislation at home and overseas, including laws that make being queer punishable by prison or execution.

I've even seen fanart of FNAF characters waving pride flags! It just comes across as hypocritical to me. I'm not one to apply puritanical rules or guidelines; I really am a live-and-let-live kind of person. BUT when it affects essential human rights, or eliminating them for a specific group, that's where I draw the line. I personally think we, as a fandom, can do better.

If you ever feel like your work isn't operationally critical, just think about the Wheel of Fortune Letter Poker.
