Hi #fediverse. We need to talk about something.
While talking to a colleague about how I recently learned most people have never been sat on by a seagull it came up that she has never been sat on by a lizard. Like, not even once during childhood.
Another colleague admitted they also have never been sat on by a lizard.
My hypothesis is that most people have at one point in their life been sat on by a lizard.

one of my favorite things on fedi is seeing an enormous infodump that is almost totally incomprehensible to me, where someone is just pouring out their heart about a topic that they love, in some gigantic thread of intense nerdery. sometimes I see people post self-consciously as if they feel like they shouldn't be filling up people's timelines with their special interest but I just want to say as a blanket statement, go for it. even if I can't quite understand the facts, the energy is sublime
