I hate having to do anything on Good Friday or holy Saturday. there should be a 30 hour window from Friday 3pm until the vigil where there is just wailing and weeping in the streets

Father Jacob MaurerIn my experience, the run-up to Holy week and Easter is when church leaders, especially priests, experience the most attacks of the devil. Division in the community, staff issues, maintenance problems, and other crisis surface without fail about now.

helping to run youth ministry is amazing. was talking to a freshman boy about something and he found out i have a girlfriend. expression on his face goes blank, then leans back in his chair and with a look of great respect says to me “i didn’t know you were like that”
