Hello there! My main #fediverse account is @[email protected] Ingat!
Adieu 2025, hello 2026!

Last sunset and first gloomy, foggy, smoggy(?) not-really sunrise in Subic Bay.
She stays and feeds in our backyard, but she's not ours. She usually has a spot outside our kitchen window, but there's no roof there, and everything is soaked. She woke up after I took this. Also, cat tax. #CatsOfMastodon
One last for the road. See you when I see you. ๐Ÿ–๏ธ

How do you beat the heat? With more of it on the beach.

Glutton for punishment.

My yellow peacock plant is blooming again. This is one of the few that I transferred directly to soil, and the height difference compared to those in pots is significant.

And just yesterday, I got new seed pods from a fully orange variety which I'll sow first thing tomorrow.

This is the time I just discovered that my phone has focus peaking on manual focus mode. Totally surprised when I saw it. Non-customizable, but still.

This is the makahiya (Mimosa pudica) or shameplant.

This is my favorite flower: the aganosma (long petal aganosma), Amphineurion marginatum. The first and last time I saw this flower was back in March 2017. I was playing Pokรฉmon Go with my father back then when I saw this flower in front of a church (and the high school I attended). Sadly, it is no longer there because they renovated the church facade after it was promoted to the diocese.

Thank you to Google Photos for reminding me of this beauty. Also, I scoured around and failed miserably at finding where I could get my hands on one. It doesn't have any local name to narrow down the search.

Hopefully, the universe will guide me to where I can see one again. #florespondence #fleuristonfil #fleuritonfil #bloomscrolling
A cup full of toasted kikiam, fishballs and tokneneng for merienda. Kain!

This firecracker flower (Crossandra infundibuliformis) is the most resilient plant we have on the yard. Its leaves could go from crisp that crumbles to pliable and alive just by watering it is pure witchcraft.

Also, I saw petals of this flower on a salad once. I was glad to find out I could eat it but after googling, it's not really edible.
