I'm back because not every cough is as excruciating as it was. Got sniped when it rained a few days ago. I was under our tarp and by the afternoon, I got the sniffles and came the worst.
Ready for another bout.lol
This is the first time I've seen something on the Announcement tab and it's...π
Where to go now?
Seeing a toot from your instance owner thinking about closing it down because of moderation and instance wars, which I have no idea what it's about, is not the best toot to read after coming back from a scorching and very draining market run.
But, bec it's Mastodon, I can just move to another instance. A hassle if it comes to it but hopefully everything works out fine.
A few Covid reminders:
π¨Wear masks, respirators especially indoors
π¨Get vaccinated against covid
π¨Open windows, ensure ventilation in indoor spaces
π¨Isolate when sick
π¨Get tested if you have covid symptoms. They can be anything from simple colds to difficulty of breathing
π¨If you get tested using self-antigen tests, report to the nearest health center ASAP so we can include you in the counts. The inclusion is needed for accurate surveillance.
π¨If you can, opt for work-from-home arrangements.

Me, decades ago as letter G on "Graduation Day" acrostic bit during our elementary graduation ceremony.
Happy Monday #fediverse!
As a kid, we used to say that the first rain of the month of May is a panacea, a cure-all.
If it is enough to go in and bathe, we will, but if it was just a light sprinkling, we'd get some rainwater from the drain basin and rub the water on our faces, parts of the body that was aching and even knee wounds from eating the road by playing too much (it me).
But now, since it's usually scorching hot in May, it's just a headache-inducing smell of petrichor and some wetness.
